(Really) Good Stuff

Ya so I grew up calling this stuff “White Trash”, but I suppose (Really) Good Stuff is more socially correct. blah. blah. blah. Whatever you call it… it is delicious. It’s addictive. It’s high cal. It’s probably not nutritious. But after that healthy salad I posted about, I need to balance my life out with a little bad, its all about feng shui people (or at least that’s my excuse to Samuel). You won’t regret it. I got this specific recipe from an old recipe booklet from one of my high school friends Kathleen. She used to make us snacks all the time, and I would think to myself, “man I wish I could cook like her,” and now look at me, all my high school dreams come true. Ya, I know. I dream big.

Here are the ingredients…

The first thing I did was mix all of the ingredients together. This is tough stuff you guys, so hang with me.

Then I added in my melted white chocolate and spread the mixture onto sheet pans.

Let cool in the fridge or something and then break it up to eat.

Ya. That’s it. Really simple. Really awesome. Really good stuff. (Like what I did there?)

(Really) Good Stuff
Thanks to Kathleen for the recipe. You make my world delicious.

Ingredients:

✔ 2 Bags Nestles White Morsels
✔ 2 Cups M&M’s
✔ 2 Cups Dry Roasted Peanuts
✔ 4 Cups Original Chex Cereal
✔ 4 Cups Thin Pretzel Sticks

Directions:

Mix ingredients together in a large bowl. Do not add the white morsels yet. Then melt the white chocolate morsels in a bowl in the microwave or in a double boiler. Start with 1/3 of the bag, melt and stir adding second bag a little at a time. When chips are fully melted pour over other ingredients, toss until all ingredients are coated. Spread on cookie sheets lined with max paper. Let sit until dry, then break into pieces.

I’ve eaten something like that all of my life. If you add some lemon juice to the melted white chocolate, then you get a really good lemon version of the same stuff. So good.
